Long-distance Coaches from Shanghai Airports
Both Pudong and Hongqiao airports offer long-distance coach services to nearby cities in the Yangtze River Delta region.
From Pudong Airport (PVG)
Long-distance coach tickets can be purchased at the ground-floor transportation center of each terminal.

Hongqiao Airport Terminal 2 is directly connected to Hongqiao Railway Station. High-speed trains to most cities are often faster and more comfortable than coaches.
Tips
- Coach schedules vary by season. Check at the airport ticket counter for current departures.
- For Suzhou and Hangzhou, high-speed trains from Hongqiao Railway Station (20–60 min) are usually a better option.
- Coaches are useful for smaller cities not served by high-speed rail.
