Shanghai is the unique city in China that has two civilian international airports, they are distributed in the east and west sides of Shanghai, one is Pudong International Airport ( IATA Code: PVG ), the other one is Hongqiao International Airport ( IATA Code: SHA ). Pudong International Airport handles 60% of flights, while the remaining 40% use Hongqiao International Airport. Pudong International Airport is located in Pudong New Area, it's about 50 km from Nanjing Road, you will take about 50 minutes by taxi. Hongqiao International Airport is located in the western suburbs of Shanghai, it's about only 20 km from Nanjing Road, you will take about 25 minutes by taxi. The two airport is connected by Subway line 2, if you need transit between Hongqiao Airport Terminal 2 with Pudong Airport, you could take the Subway line 2, it will take about 82 minutes.

Pudong International Airport Information

Pudong International Airport has two terminals (T1, T2), each terminal includes International Entrance / Exit and Domestic Entrance / Exit. There have free terminal shuttle bus between T1 and T2. It departs per 10 minutes from 06:00 to 24:00.
